Over
100 years ago, in Anping, a small town in Northern China, Chinese
weavers developed exceptional skill producing different kinds of screen
mesh, especially silk and wire mesh. Anping continues to be the oldest
and largest screen mesh production base in China. The Chinese people
proudly refer to Anping as "The Home Town of Mesh".
Thanks to the current open market policy of the Chinese Government,
there are now opportunities to develop new mesh weaving technologies.
In January 1997, Anping County Printing Screen Co., Ltd. was
established with a total investment of 60 million Renminbi (Yuan), $7.3
million US, creating the largest modern screen weaving production
plant. Their advanced technology enables them to achieve highly
modulated mesh production!
Anping's enhanced processes employ similar weaving technology and
machinery as European and Japanese mesh producers. The investment
includes 48 sets of Swiss Sulzer projectile looms, models P7100 and
P7150, and a completely redesigned production line – from warping,
drawing, weaving, washing, heat setting, dyeing, final heat setting,
inspection and quality control. They employ the most advanced testing
lab equipment and experienced weavers and technicians, who received
special training in Switzerland. All the monofilament yarns are
imported from top international manufacturers. Anping is the largest
polyester mesh manufacturer in China, producing the highest quality
mesh with "high tension, low elongation". The mesh count ranges from 40
to 380 per inch. The widest mesh fabric width is 120" (306cm). The
production capacity is approximately 2.4 million square yards (2
million square meters) per year. The screen products are widely used in
electronic, textile and ceramic printing and also used for filtration
in high tech industries, including the aerospace and petrochemical
industries.
Anping's products – Tino Mesh (Trade Mark)
– are widely sold throughout China and worldwide, through 7 sales
offices and 30 sales outlets. Anping employs a dedicated sales
organization with an overseas exporting company – Tino Screen Manufacturing Inc.
The exporting company is expanding its offices and warehouses in New
York City, USA and Toronto, Canada, to provide outstanding service to
every customer, along with top quality products, competitive prices and
prompt delivery.
In order to grow market share and ensure supply, in both China and
overseas, production is continually improved and capacity expanded.
Recently, Anping received government approval to invest approximately
$15 million US, furthering their position as the largest screen mesh
production base in China.
